Ocean Rafting is the only tour to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach, and special snorkel sites ensure a memorable underwater experience. Join the guided walk to the stunning views at Hill Inlet lookout and visit several Hook Island snorkel sites. A complement of only 25 to 32 guests and 2 crew on each vessel allows for personal service and 70% of the boats are under shade providing comfort from the tropical sun.Tour includes courtesy bus pickup, personalised snorkel instruction, reef and island naturalist talks, guided National Park Walk, snorkel floatation devices, use of snorkel equipment and cake for afternoon tea. Ocean Rafting is Advanced Eco Accredited. The main difference between Ocean Rafting’s two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights has more beach time.
Northern Exposure Tour: The Northern Exposure eco adventure is a favourite amongst avid snorkellers because it includes two different snorkel destinations. Not only that, but it includes a visit to the stunning beach at Hill Inlet, north end of Whitehaven Beach, and a guided National Park walk to the lookout above the silica sand of Whitehaven. Explore the restricted area of beautiful Hill Inlet at Whitehaven Beach. Southern Lights Tour: Visit both the northern and southern ends of world famous Whitehaven Beach and spend at least two hours relaxing on the white silica sand or exploring the 7km stretch of beach. Walk to the Southern Whitehaven lookout with breathtaking views of Pentecost Island and the tropical waters of the Whitsundays, and join the guided walk to the stunning Hill Inlet lookout. Snorkel for over an hour at Border Island, Dumbell Island or one of our “secret” snorkel spots and enjoy the amazing hard and soft corals of the fringing reefs.
